Introduction
AZUtils ("AZUtils", "we", "us" or "our") operates the website azutils.com and the free online tools available on it (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language because we believe a privacy policy should be readable, not just legally complete.
AZUtils is built to be private by design. The majority of our tools — including image compression, format conversion, text utilities, JSON formatting and JWT decoding — run entirely within your web browser. That means the files and text you work with are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to, or stored on, our servers. By using AZUtils, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information we collect
We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. The information we may handle falls into a few categories:
- Information you choose to provide. If you contact us by email or through our contact form, we receive what you send — such as your name, email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to you.
- Tool content stays on your device. For browser-based tools, the images, text and data you process are handled locally and are not transmitted to us.
- Aggregated, non-identifying usage data. We collect anonymous statistics — such as which tools are used and general traffic patterns — to understand what's useful and to improve the Service.
Automatically collected data
Like most websites, our servers and service providers may automatically record certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring pages, and the date and time of your visit.
